Pathfinders!

pathfinders

Four years ago, we intentionally began a journey to create a ministry for the young adults in our church. A ministry to grow deeper in Christ, create a community whose voices were heard, and live life together. In the uncertain world we are living in, we took this time to slow down, evaluate who the group is and process who we want to be. We felt it was a perfect time to reboot, and begin making changes that will reflect who we truly are. Part of that change was introducing a new name celebrating who we are and where we are going. Psalm 16:11 reads “You show me the path of life. You fill me with joy in your presence.”

We are Pathfinders.

We are following Jesus and discovering the new paths on which he will lead us.
Changing the name helps describe who/what we are, a group of people finding our paths together. Our hearts are also changing as we live life together. Our first-Sunday-of-the-month Connections and first-Thursday-of-the-month Women’s Conversations help build that bond and community with each other.

As we grow closer together, we also find that we have room in our lives for others. The men recently hosted a Men’s Gathering event, open to all generations, at Pastor Hunter’s farm. Service and mission opportunities are being explored for the near future.

Thankfully, our mentors are always there to help us along as we follow Christ’s leading, finding new paths. If you find yourself in the “young adult” category, or simply young at heart, we would love to welcome you into our community. Please contact NanaSue here for more information.
