Qualifications:
- Experience in pastoral ministry
- Effective public speaking and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to Anabaptist theology
- Teaching consistent with the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective
Responsibilities:
- Preach two of four Sundays and schedule preachers on the other Sundays
- Collaborate with and lead the church staff team
- Officiate at baptisms, weddings, and funerals as needed
- Participate in and coordinate pastoral care with the pastoral care team
- Participate as a member of the Elder Leadership Board, as outlined in the church constitution
- Serve as an ex-officio member of other church leadership teams
- Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to congregation members as needed
- Endorse and articulate the vision of Neffsville Mennonite Church
- Be responsible, along with the Elder Leadership Team, for the spiritual leadership of the congregation
- Be present and available at as many church events as possible
- Review and revise operational efficiency documents
