Men’s Summer Opportunities: With the intent of bringing men together this summer, some interest groups are being formed that may intrigue you.
When you register, you are indicating that you are interested in being invited to this activity once it has been scheduled by the leader (if there is enough interest).
Please invite your friends to join you, and any newcomers to NMC. This is a great way to mix with new folks as well!
- Golfing with Jack Hess and Garry North
- A beautiful walk chasing a small, white ball.
- Disc golf with Karl Bjorkman
- A beautiful walk chasing flying discs.
- Riding bike with Chuck Schneider
- A bike and a sense of balance are required, but that's about it.
- Board & card games with John Bomberger
- Learn a new one, or revisit a classic.
- Pickleball with John Hess
- A mix of ping-pong and tennis. Fun for all ages and skill levels.
- Walking/hiking with Dean Smith and Bob Unruh
- Two walks are planned, one on a paved path and a more strenuous one. Bring a camera along if you like.
- Lawn games with Steve Landis
- Cornhole, horseshoes, and quoits are all possibilities here.
- An “End of Summer” picnic at Mitch Rohrer’s farm
- Bring an appetite and your stories, and get a birds-eye view of a milk parlor that runs non-stop.
No expertise or big commitment is needed to participate in these groups, just interest in being with other men from Neffsville MC around these activities.
