When are the church's services?

Sunday School begins at 8:45 a.m. and Worship starts at 10:00 a.m.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable! We care more about you than what you wear.

How long are your services?

Services vary from 60 minutes to 75 minutes.

What are your services like?

Our services focus on worship and Biblical preaching. We share news of church life, sing, pray and hear teaching about God's Word.

Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. During each service, you will find contemporary songs and traditional hymns. Most Sundays will also include music from our organist on our pipe organ. Our bell choir plays about once a month.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?

We have no wish to embarrass, single out, or put anyone on the spot. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We like to collect some basic information from people in our guest registry, but if you'd prefer not to write anything, that's fine as well.

Do I have to be “Mennonite” to attend Neffsville Mennonite Church?

No. Our members have come from a wide array of backgrounds, some grew up in the Catholic church, some were raised in other Protestant churches, and some grew up without a church and without any spiritual direction at all. We are far more concerned about where you are going than where you came from.

What about my children?

Two nurseries are available during the Sunday School hour and morning worship.

Parents are always welcome to attend and observe any of our children's ministries.

What about Christian Education?

Sunday School Classes are offered for all ages (toddler through adult), starting at 8:45 AM. All the volunteers in our children’s ministry are Safe Church certified. This means that they have all state-required clearances and have had child abuse prevention training.

We provide Biblical teaching for our youth (grades 6-12) addressing topics and issues relevant to our youth on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. Our youth also have the opportunity to participate in mission trips, service projects, and retreats.

Adult Sunday school classes offer in-depth exploration of Biblical truths and contemporary issues that affect your life.

Are there any other church-related activities besides the Sunday service?

Absolutely! We have many different activities for all ages and interests. “Wednesday Night Out*” is one of our biggest events. It starts with a great tasting dinner at the church. After dinner, there are meetings of different groups and classes, including prayer groups, choirs, boys and girls clubs, youth activities, etc.

Dinner has a $5 per person suggested donation, with a $20 per family cap.

* We have “Wednesday Night Out” twice a month from September through April. It does not run over the summer.

Is the church ADA accessible?

Yes. The accessible entrance is on the north side of the building at the carport. We offer hearing assistance devices, and an elevator provides access to all floors of the building.
