Over the years Neffsville Mennonite Church has been involved in many outreach endeavors. From Australia to Argentina, Africa to Mexico, Uruguay to Haiti, Peru and beyond, we are involved in spreading the love of Christ around the globe. We work through Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS), Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), Mennonite Mission Network (MMN), Serving With Appalachian People (SWAP), Center for Student Missions (CSM), and Habitat for Humanity locally and globally.

Four times a year, when a month has a fifth Sunday, we gather for breakfast at 8:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall, followed by sharing from missionary teams.

Giving Opportunties

Due to the pandemic many of our ministries have been reduced to what we can do remotely as opposed to in-person interaction. This does not mean that the needs are any less! Previously you donated over $9,000 to the local Power Packs ministry. Really well done! Find below several more opportunities to help make an impact both locally and internationally.

If you’ve attended any of the Mission Sharing times over the past number of years you have probably heard of Bob Unruh and his close connections in Peru. They, like the rest of the world, have been impacted by the pandemic, which is hitting the poorest communities extra hard. Bob has already sent $1,500 from the Peru Fund to three ministries in the area to help feed families in urban areas as well as the most remote parts of the country, but the need is great. Would you consider helping feed families in some of the neediest areas of Peru? David and Leidi Ayala, and Julio Chiang, our good friends on the ground in Peru, will ensure that it makes maximum impact! Send your gift to the church, marked “Peru”. Thank you. Deadline: November 1, 2020

Follow the link below to learn about ongoing work in Haiti. We are working on a detailed page for the work in Peru, so keep an eye out for that coming soon.
